Transfer Portal 2027

If its not one of my teams, I dont watch it. All sports. My free time is better spent elsewhere.
I have apparently arrived at this point with my 2 kiddos.. its a complete 180 from when I used to know just about every players high school and definitely their college. But now that's all ruined too bc they all.play at 5 schools lol

That’s a terrible idea. Let’s just make the whole season a big tournament.
I don't hate it if they are going to play on tuesday and wednesday (they are) might as well have bball all day ..

I would have just gone to 72 but this is fine ..

there will now be 8 16 seeds lowest net of teams in the field .. and 6 15 seeds (bottom 4 in net will play in the "First 12) ..

then the last 12 at large will play in on tuesday and wednesday .. ..

"The NCAA is on track to expand the March Madness tournament from 68 to 76 teams, likely starting in 2027.

Under this expansion, the tournament will replace the "First Four" with an "opening round" that includes more play-in games to accommodate additional at-large and conference champion bids.

Here is how the seed structure is expected to change:
12 Seeds Affected: 12th seeds will be relegated to 13th seeds.
Play-in Expansion: The new 76-team format is projected to create four 12-seed play-in games, two 15-seed play-in games, and four 16-seed play-in games.
Focus on Bubble Teams: The extra slots are largely designed to include more "at-large" power-conference teams.
Opening Round Games: The expansion will create 12 games for 24 teams on the Tuesday and Wednesday of the opening round. "

Well hell PM will be 12 seed coach of the year lol!

Any idea who else we're legitimately in on right now? Are we out of money on Pop, Gak, Hendricks, and Rooths?
This kid seems interesting.. not sure if the mckay follow is recent or not but porter usually likes to use Oklahoma/Texas ties for his portal targets.. he's from sugarland tx, mostly backed up fears but started 12 games at sg, 44% from 3..

Just listened to Bob P on YouTube and it already sounds like he is trying to temper expectations for Gak. He said he may not be better than Mo, but hopefully more consistent. That sure seems different than what he and Lusk were saying over the last couple weeks. I recall one of them saying something along the lines of “much better.”

Also, one thing they mentioned that blew my mind even though I should have realized it: Kai didn’t score a point in SEC play. Thats wild. He obviously had a lot of DNP-CDs, but I guess I assumed he would have scored at least one bucket by accident.
