TBH I have not seen Tech play this year. What do they do, how the heck did the win in Lawrence and what can we expect Tuesday?

Where is our Tech touter?

TT was clearly the better team on the court in Lawrence from start to finish.
I was very impressed. They are long and athletic and poised. Anytime KU tried to make a run, they made shots or FTs.

The Sooners will have their hands full tomorrow.

I've watched them multiple times and can say they are very well coached. Beard doesn't have a high profile name (yet) but his teams are well disciplined, play hard and have a clear vision of what they want to do. As mentioned, at KU they never looked phased and NEVER trailed in AFH. They took it right at and destroyed KSU this weeked as well. OU will have to play tough and bring it from the tip.

Expect a really tough game between 2 of the top 4 teams in the league. 6:00 pm game, students haven't returned, both bad for crowd size and good for TTU.

I believe Beard is out of the Bob Knight coaching tree..

I believe Beard is out of the Bob Knight coaching tree..

He had some small school head coaching positions prior to being an assistant at Texas Tech for 10 year with the Knight's. He then left for some other head coaching opportunities but returned to tech when it opened even though he had just accepted the head coaching position at UNLV. He's won pretty much every where he has been but never been at any stop for very long. If he builds Tech up (this year says he can) then he could be there for a while unless a blue blood comes calling and that's his dream.

I have watched them play a couple of times as well. They are shooting from outside better than they did last year. We will have to be real careful no to leave them open.

They dogs man. Will be muy interesante. Hope the Sooners are ready to rub!

I hope we run our offense and not just try to play one on one basketball like the WVU game.

Lon does not know how to coach a passing O. Hopefully Trae's passing will rub off on the others.
TTU is solid and well coached on both sides of the ball. I bet the line is TTU -1.5

Yeah, we have the top scoring team in America because our Hall of Fame caliber coach doesn't know how to coach a passing offense. Funny how no one was complaining about the ball movement during the 10-game winning streak.

Also, the line is OU by 3, not that it will impact the game tomorrow.

You have heard the saying that "winning covers up a lot of ills" right?

Have you not watched OU play at all this year? It's one of the best passing teams in the country and one of the best passing teams I've ever seen. They move the ball extremely well.

Talk about Trae Young all you want, but IMO, the primary reason the team is such a good offensive team is the way in which it moves the ball and finds open shots. Now, Trae has a ton to do with that, but the notion that this is a 1 man team is ridiculous.
