Sources said OU and the NCAA have turned up nothing that implicates Capel in any wrongdoing. Thus far, the only evidence uncovered is that Taliaferro contacted the Tampa-based financial adviser 66 times via phone calls or text messages over a 10-month period.

Why is it that some on this board feel that if you are not pumping sunshine, you are a "Sooner hater"? I have attended almost every home game the past 4 seasons, as well as several away and neutral site games. I am not calling for Jeff's head and honestly feel he is a good person and coach. With that said, I'm not sure he can survive this scandal and all of the recent issues. Even if he did nothing wrong himself, someone on his staff did and he hired that person. He also recruited the players involved. I hate to see this happen to Jeff, but it may end up being necessary.

I hear what you are saying yankee, but I just feel like in this stage of OU's investigation, if Capel did wrong, he would already be gone. Joe C. would not wait until the summer to try to find a new coach, and would not let Capel sign 9 if he was on his way out. I just can not see that happening.

I think Jeff will be OK. I don't know of anyone at this point that thinks he should be gone. He is a great recruiter and I hope he is here long enough to become a great Head Coach. Go Jeff!

I like the enthusiasm big red, however, you clearly have not been here long. there is a growing population on this board calling for Capel's and Joe C's heads
