There are plenty of great players within 200 miles of OKC just about every year to have a great recruiting class.

I agree that fences have to be mended or we will continue to come out on the short end every time.

Are you able to tell us exactly what these "I hate Sherri - She is a horrible person - OU enemies" wanted from OU that they did not get. Not by beating around the bush with sly and secret accusations, but with exact things (was it cash, cars, she would not give my daughter [or player] a scholarship, or what).

I lived in North Texas for many years and have known - very well - many very important North Texas coaches, teachers, administrators, etc. Not a single one of them hates Sherri or talks in the slightest way in a derogatory manner about her. In fact, they admire her and the way she runs the OU program.

So who are these people who think she is not worthy of coaching women's basketball players - at least those in their families, teams, clubs, etc?

It isn't all high school coaches. Look at DFW Elite and see how many of their players are signing with OU. There's a reason. It can probably be fixed if Sherri is willing to spend the time to rebuild some relationships. That's all I'm going to say.

Also let's not forget Walker once played for DFW elite. It started with the late coach Jackson. DFW still to this day pushes the kids away. Colleges have to have great relationships with these AAU programs if not they will suffer in recruiting. There is nothing the high school coaches can do to really help, 80% of the parents do not like there high school coach. That's why you see the kids transfer high schools so much.

Just taking a stab in the dark here but I am going to guess that Sherri saw something that she didn't like and possibly said something to one of the coaches. Because of that, the coaches tell their players to stay away from OU.

I don't actually know anything but this is what it sounds like. Can someone tell me if I am close?
