Played one minute in the official box score. So those of you suggesting him getting playing time cost us the game, can stop. LK was trying to get his starters a minute or two on the bench. They played A LOT of minutes again. Without Hield, and with Cousins playing like poo, we're asking an awful lot out of our starters.

I did not see the full game, didn't think Cousins played that bad. Had some nice passes and didn't turn the ball over. Also, the kid can play some D! But, I started watching with about 3 minutes left to go in the first.

He didn't play badly at all.

I don't think stats tell the entire story. He was out of control and uncomfortable all night. In Grooms, he can get the ball, and let the offense get set. Cousins is so uncomfortable dribbling the ball right now, that he can't wait to get rid of it. Whether that means a quick pass that isn't really part of the offense, or just wildly dribbling to the rim. He is scared to death of getting picked. Early in the game he drove a couple of times to the lane, and jumped before passing. That is a big no-no, though he got lucky and never actually turned it over. Also took a couple of bad shots.

So while he didn't play as bad as he did the other night, he still isn't playing at an acceptable level. I think his lack of minutes to night kind of speaks to that.

But I'm not putting the loss on him. Was just pointing out that our starters played a lot of minutes.

That's about the most accurate depiction of Cousin's play right now and for the past however many games. Kid is playing a million miles an hour and is a walking turnover - playing hot potato dribbling down the floor ain't a good recipe for success.
