unbelievable (isu related)

If you look through that you see that OSU, Cincy, Louisville, and other big time programs are looking for games. This seems to be a common practice and a place to go when needing games. I don't think it is an indictment on the ISU program as much as players and coaches leaving

Yes, I know every school plays guarantee games. I just thought it was funny it was posted this morning.

Does he have any coaching experience at all?

Does he have any coaching experience at all?

From the link:

"Hoiberg, who has never coached, is one of the all-time favorite Cyclone players, leading ISU to three NCAA Tournaments."

From wikipeida it says he has some (little) experience with the Timberwolves in the NBA in the form of a front office job.
Hoiberg underwent surgery in June 2005 to correct an enlarged aortic root (Aneurysm of sinus of Valsalva). The operation was successful, but after a brief comeback attempt as a player, Hoiberg joined the Minnesota Timberwolves coaching staff. On April 17, 2006, Hoiberg announced his retirement from basketball to take a job in the Timberwolves front office.

As of September 27 2009, the Timberwolves have promoted Fred Hoiberg to vice president of basketball operations.

I think ISU just set their program back a couple more years.

I hope for ISU he does not become their John "boo" Blake...Hiring within the family after a sudden out of the blue shock, and a guy with little coaching history. He was a heck of a player, big roll of the dice for the Cyclones..
