Uh I know the Big East hate is cool right now but seeing an overseeded, overrated GTown team which lost 5 of their last 6 and Nova who lost their last 6, lose in the 1st round isn't really a surprise. St John's sure but they had a pretty bad matchup against Gonzaga.

It's kind of like the preseason polls in football. Since everyone pimps the Big East all year the teams are falsely elevated by beating each other.

Don't look now but Cuse is getting a tough one from Larry Bird U. This game reminds me a lot of the one we had against them 10 years ago(damn it was that long ago!)

That Indiana State team that beat us was absolutely horrible. I think that's the second most dejected I was after a Kelvin era loss.

Sure they are overrated. Just like the ACC most of them play a fairly weak early schedule and then get lots of points for beating each other. And since they are so highly rated they don't get negative points for losing to another Big East or ACC team.

And to be clear, I'm not sure there's a serious candidate for the job who DIDN'T have at least ten loss this year.

I think we were up double digits most of the game. Just couldn't do anything late, and Price got hurt.

VCU has a really nice point guard, Rodriguez, he reminded me of Steve Nash out there dribbling around, through, and under guys and making pinpoint bullet passes for layups and threes. VCU had six turnovers in the ENTIRE GAME. This was with Georgetown pressing nearly the entire second half. They made 12 three-pointers in the game. Joey Rodriguez had 17 points, 7 assists, 2 turnovers, 2 steals, and 2 rebounds. I realize Georgetown isn't Kansas but that's pretty impressive.
