Three players -- Kansas State's Denis Clemente and Texas's Avery Bradley and Dexter Pittman -- were honorable mention picks for this year's Preseason All-Big 12 Team. Bradley was named preseason freshman of the year and Iowa State's Marquis Gilstrap was named preseason newcomer of the year.
