Here's the only thing recent I can find on Washburn, from the Tucson Citizen web site:
•What if Arizona does not land Jack, Baltimore Lake Clifton point guard Josh Selby and Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill guard Doron Lamb? Do the Cats fill their remaining scholarship? Miller hinted during Monday’s press conference that he could save that scholarship for the Class of 2011. Ross is a possibility, although his name is not mentioned often with Arizona. Two other Rivals.com Top 150 prospects who have yet to decide have been recruited by Arizona (by the previous staff of Lute Olson and Russ Pennell) and by Miller and Book Richardson when they were at Xavier.
◦These players are Duncanville (Texas) small forward Julian Washburn and Newark (N.J.) NIA Prep small forward Shaquille Thomas. Rivals reports that Arizona has offered Washburn (rated No. 95 overall by Rivals.com) a scholarship, but that is most likely from when Olson coached. Others involved with him include Kansas, Memphis, Oklahoma and Texas. Thomas, rated No. 77 overall by Rivals.com, was offered a scholarship by Richardson when the UA assistant coach was at Xavier. Syracuse and Providence reportedly also are involved.
