That's what I'm going to do instead of harping on how bad OU is. There are a lot of teams that I wanna catch this year. Tulsa Edison, East Central, Bridge Creek, Preston, Ardmore, BTW, Douglass, PCN, Southmoore, Stillwater, Guthrie, Western Heights, Piedmont, Woodward(really good team!), Millwood, Edmond Sante Fe, Edmond Memorial(best team in the State) etc. There will be a lot of good basketball this year. Unfortunately it won't be in Norman.

I caught Edmond Memorial/Moore last friday. Memorial has a nice team. Obi is a solid player, just too short for a PF in a major conference. The lefty SG has a nice game too. The word I got at the game was that EMHS scrimmaged Douglas a few weeks ago and took it to them.

Yeah, I heard they have a real nice 2013 guard, Jordan Woodard. I saw Obi this summer and he was running the pg for Athletes First. He's a very unorthodox player. Almost looks like a football running back. He couldn't be kept from the basket though. He's already signed to Western Illinois.

A former teammate of mine coaches at Ark City Kansas so here in a few weeks i'm gonna go up there and catch a few as well as practice with the team...

Also going back home to Ardmore and will stop in to see that squad, also a friend of the coach...they went through some major off the court issues in the preseason but seem to be regrouping ok now that the season has started...ready to see what Trey Cohee and Nino bring this year after a year playing together...

Size seems like it's going to be Ardmore's issue. They're probably the best 5A team in the west. I think East Central may be in the East. I know BTW is good, but East Central has an unguardable guard and a dominant big guy.

He's a good high school player, pretty similar talent level to Tyree Scott who played at PCN 5 or so years ago, Scott went to Redlands....not sure after that.

I think he could be a Southland, Sun Belt level recruit. ORU would be a good spot for him, I think.
