I hate to admit it but Ford is a real good coach.
I agree. He does a nice job.

Never imagined OSU would hand it to Kansas like they did.
Also thought Fred Gulley handled Collins very, very well.
I'm hoping this gets the fringe "Sutton 4 ever" fans back on the OSU basketball wagon.
A lot of fun.
Agreed. If Collins doesn't start playing better there is no way KU gets to the Final Four much less win a National Championship.

Agreed.
If Collins doesn't play like he is capable of playing, I'm not so sure they are the best team in their own state
I didn't even realize until this morning looking at the box score... one of the more amazing stats from yesterday's game: OSU outrebounded KU by 10. Again I think this is testament to Pilgrim's contribution.
Jeff, Pilgrim is a stud. I really like his game. He gave Aldrich fits because he's a lot smaller and quicker. This is where OSU was smart going 4 guards and either Pilgrim/Moses. It actually made Aldrich ineffective. And really Aldrich only played 8 minutes 2nd half and when he was out KU was much more effective and outscored OSU double digits.
This was a game where KU had very little to nothing to play for versus OSU having absolutely everything to play for. Not to take anything away from the great win, but let's get real this was OSU's superbowl. KU on other hand looked like a team that was already thinking about KSU on Wednesday.
To Ford being a "really good coach" I'll reserve judgement until the end of the season and then next season when he has even less of Sutton's recruits. OSU is likely to finish 9-7 in league play with an AA on the team. To me that is not "really good" it's just ok. Next year should be really interesting for OSU with no Anderson or Muonelo.

B.S. excuse. Kansas had MULTIPLE things to "play for"... a win would have clinched the Big 12 title and there's also the matter of an undefeated Big 12 season and the #1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament.
So don't give the lame excuse that KU didn't have anything to play for just to make yourself feel better about the OSU win.
And as for OSU being charged up to play #1 KU... of course they were. EVERYBODY IN THE LEAGUE gets amped up to play KU, but obviously that doesn't automatically translate to a win.
Kansas beat KSU in Manhattan (you don't think the Wildcats were just a little bit up for that game?), Texas A&M in College Station (on Big Monday) and Texas in Austin.
And let's be honest here... it's not like OSU snuck out a win like they did two years ago. OSU dominated that game from start to finish. It was a combination of good play and an excellent game plan by Ford.
And last year it was "let's see how he is next year without Eaton and Harris." That seemed to work out fine.
Last I checked, basketball isn't a 1 vs. 5 game. Yes, Anderson is the best player in the Big 12, but he's surrounded by Muenelo, plus a bunch of freshmen and sophomores. We're the youngest team in the Big 12.
Furthermore, we lost our starting point guard halfway through conference season.
I'd say that, given those obsticals, Ford has done a fine job this year.
There's no question he's a very good coach.
I do not think KU played that badly. OSU just had a marvelous game. I was a little suprised that we out rebounded them and outplayed them on the interior. I think we may have even led the points off of TO's stat. I know there will be some that claim we played above our heads but OSU has been a beast at home beginning with the OU game.
