This game becomes all that much more interesting as a result of the Texas game. We are tied for fourth with West Virginia, having beaten them in Norman in a game in which we did not have Maddie.

They are not a great shooting team, although Muldrow isn't bad. Holmes gets a lot of credit and always has. But, she is not a good shooter. She scores on a lot of layups arising from their defense. She hits 33% of her threes this year in conference play. Montgomery and Muldrow get a lot of layups and have a high percentage. They are only about 65% on free throw shooting.

If you can keep from turning the ball over, WV has trouble. They do turn the ball over. We fell behind them but came back because they simply are not a good ball-handling team.

I think the height of Lanay Montgomery always gives Kay Kay trouble. She has trouble shooting over tall posts. Lanay can block shots.

If we maintain pressure on them, as we did late in the game against them, as well as against Texas, we can beat them in Morgantown. I don't know that we like playing in Morgantown. There always seems to be a detour due to a snowstorm, and it is snowing in the NE. But, this is winnable.

But, we really struggled last year after beating Baylor. Beating a good team in Norman may not be a predictor.

This is where Vivi can make a big difference. She is able to get the ball in the hoop
over those taller players. She did it at Texas where Boyette had a really good game. She played well against Lewis at KSU and Jensen in Norman against OSU. The teams that give KK a problem do not seem to affect VIVI
as much.

I am so hacked that this game isn't on TV. Let me continue my rant from the Texas thread.

What the heck is the OU Athletics Department thinking? A critical away game and we can't get television coverage.

I want to kick someone's a.........

The game is in Morgantown. I don't think the OU Athletic Department has any control over whether or not an away game is televised. If you want to be mad at someone, direct your ire at the conference or the networks.

Exactly! Every home game is televised. We are not responsible nor do we have the authority to televise road games.

So does WVU not televise their games? Cause the KState game in Manhattan was shown here. And it was the feed from the KSU network we watched.

Yeah. The Big 12 and West Virginia are the culprits.

I'm sure they do. They probably selected this game to not be televised so people would actually leave their homes and watch the games in purpose. To increase attendance. It remains to be seen if this helps.

Some forty years ago, the St.Louis Cardinal baseball team had a rather useful TV policy. They televised all road games. They assumed that seeing the team on TV would promote home attendance.
