Hoffman will not leave a head coaching position to be an assistant again. We should have kept him around when we had the chance.

Hoffman and Cline were too good of coaches for Capel. Would have made him look bad. Look at all of the great recruits Betts has added to our roster!

Betts is a waste. I'm pretty sure he will be selling insurance in a few months and never have a chance at coaching again.

Ya I never understood Capel not keeping Hoffman, kinda guess we know now. Do you guys just don't think he would fit as a head coach? Too old? I would do cart wheels if we could he him as an assistant. He is a head at Mercer but he loves, or did love, OU and I bet he could get close to the money.
