I think everyone agrees that we don't have the players we need to win a NC. We have Nancy, Ana, and Chelsea headed our way. When I watched her play, I was impressed with Ana. She is athletic, she can defend, she can shoot, and she can get to the rim. To me, she is just the type of shooting guard you look for. I would like to see at least one other player on the roster just like her. IMO, we cannot win a NC without an elite big to go with Nancy. We need to be able to dominate the paint. Several have been mentioned the last couple of days. The question is, can Sherri sign any of them? I would also like to see another really good point guard. Gabbi needs a quality backup who can run the offense and can score. Johnson would fit the bill perfectly. She knows the players we have coming in, she lives in Edmond, she knows she could compete for the job immediately, and she continues to visit OU. Peyton is really good and two more guards just like her would make Sherri's life much easier.

Yes, I know some are rolling their eyes thinking, we're not UCONN and we can't just go pick those type players off trees. True. But, if Sherri can sign just one elite big such as Cox or Holmes, it will be a thousand times easier to add the other pieces we need. Great players want to play with other great players.

The kind of player that wins championships (and the hardest to find and sign) is the tall, agile, slashing forward. Think Breanna Stewart, Angel McCoughtry, Candice Parker, Sophia Young.......Lauren Cox?

What we need is stellar shooting and great rebounding. From at least 7 players.

No more of this 18 and 20 percent from the field. No more getting out rebounded.

An elimination of the pet peeves we all have listed.

We need Sherri to continue to sub well and to not go brain dead like she did with that 5-guard team she recently through out there against Iowa State.

I think Maddie fits that description. She is not as powerful as Amanda Thompson, but she can move. I just hope she regains her form and confidence by next season. She could have a breakout season if she does.

I think a real Big- Big would benefit us the most. Some one that can create real matchup problems for most teams, or equalize other Big-Bigs. Other than that, I think we have the talent, can we develop it is the question?

Someone like Sune Agbuke with 3 more inches on her. Sune was quite impressive to me. I was soo happy when she fouled out.
