Their coach is a hillbilly. They are terrible. No real OU fan would ever pimp a loser team of a loser school with a hillbilly coach with 1 NCAA win on his resume.

Idiots said this scrub pathetic team that should be 1-5 in conference play is light years ahead of our current team. What is hilarious is that we had to run out in the middle of the night and sign janitors from the canary islands and are still better than them.

Let me see, we have a thread going in which a sooner fan says we are the third most talented team in conference. BocaBS :eddie187_jpg_xs:says we're terrible.

As always I (and most knowledgable BB fans on this board) say we're somewhere in the middle.

Both ostate and ou are bad. Capel and Ford should be embarrassed. I would take ostate's recruiting class over ou's.

They need more than just scoring from him...He is running Point and he only got 1 assist on the night. They struggle b/c the whole team is all about them. They force shots. If they didn't, the team as a whole would have gotten more than 6 assists on the night.

I expected this OSU team to be better than it is. They seem to have multiple players that have regressed or just arent playing to their potential.

Pilgrim - has totally dissapeared this year
Page - tonight is not the only night that he's been completely shut down
Penn - doesn't even start or play big minutes any more
Franklin - a guy that many on this OU board really wanted out of HS is nearly halfway through his OSU career and has barely made any impact

I guess they just really miss James Anderson. Either that or their coach is lost. Weren't they supposed to be a 40 minutes of hell, run and gun type team? Where has that gone?

Capel is rebuilding...whats Fords excuse...did he just run out of Suttons players. He would have had more if he didn't run off Adams and Thomas.

I agree. Pilgrim isn't bad he just isn't anything more than what Ryan Wright was...just maybe a lil bit better rebounder. Teams are figuring out how to shut down Page, and he hurts your team b/c he's a horrible PG. I don't get why Penn doesn't start over Page. Thats hurting their team down the stretch. Ford has really crippled Franklin. Making a 6'5 wing player play the 4. He got lucky with Muonelo at the 4, even though playing him at the 3 would have worked a lot better for that team down the stretch last year.

They miss more than Anderson...they miss Obi, Eaton and Harris.

As long as Ford continues to go small and go with this run and gun offense and crappy defense...than his team will never be anything more than the 6th best team.

Yea, he's not that hard to take...ive had my run-ins with him on the NBA board over at OUI...but for some weird reason, we have been pretty similiar lately...except i'm not all sold on Capel like him....

OSU only has 1 shooter but a lot of good athletes and pieces. I just don't think Ford knows how to use those pieces. That was something I was wondering about as Ford's first two teams had a heavy emphasis on 3 point shooting with a guy who could drive.

It also doesn't help Ford much as his recruiting class doesn't have any shooters right now. Ford better hope those two Louisiana guards start working on their jumpers all summer.

The question is will Nash give him more than a year. I can already guarantee that if Nash starts...he will be playing the 4. That will make another player that Ford has taken out of his natural spot and force him to play bigger than he is accustomed too.
