Will Kruger clean out dead weight?

What do you think Kruger will do about the current roster? The roster seems to an immediate impediment to success. Shouldn't Hadrick, Thompson and some others be gently shown the door? OU needs some real players not marginal practice players.

other than hadrick i doubt it, it is really late in the game and he needs to be able to practice and have a full bench once games start.

It might be late in the game to get rid of Thompson. If they can't fill his scholarship, you would be doing nothing more than kicking a player off the team that is a year from graduating.

unless it's an obvious upgrade, you ride with thompson. i'll take one year of thompson over 2-3 years of someone similar. his scholly in '12 will probably help us get better sooner than anyone you bring in this late.

Cam and dad are smart, they'll realize that Lon will do a great job at building him up. Especially if he brings the style of play to OU that he had at UNLV.

I'm not worried about any transfers, I'd be more worried if I were on the back end of the roster.

If Cam and his dad can't see the wisdom of staying on board with Kruger, so be it.
Kruger will find a way to win with the players who want to be at OU. I hope Cam is one of those players.
