The only one I have claimed was overrated was the Mountain West. I am wondering about the Big Ten but there is still a lot of basketball to be played.

Maybe the Big 12 is overrated. OSU loses, and now KSU is getting smoked early.

Judging the strength of any conference on the performance of a couple teams in a crazy tournament environment is pretty silly.

Butler making back-to-back title games doesn't mean the CAA was a great conference.

I wouldnt have any problems saying the Big-10 AND the Big-12 are overrated. The A-10, however, is vastly underrated apparently.

I don't think the Big 12 is overrated so much as the teams were overseeded, so far. If I remember correctly, the Big 12 wasn't a top 5 rated conference or am I wrong?

Mountain West is clearly overrated. Very competitive (the teams in the conference all beat each other) but so far all the teams suck moose balls. I hope it continues with tonights session.

We still have the bulk of the Big 12 teams going today so nobody can say yay or nay yet - I'd throw the OSU game out and it looks like KState decided to wake up after sleep walking for 20 minutes.

I wanna see that ISU ND game, think ND is pretty talented on the offensive end and are very efficient so it ll be fun to see how ISU handles them.

This tournament shows that this was a real down year for all of college basketball. If the PAC 12 and Atlantic 10 are the top conferences it's not a great year.

Or that the tournament in a one game format is about match-ups.

A seven game series between teams/conferences proves who the top league is.

Overall conference strength is increased with teams beating each other in January/February, but the non-conference is a huge component of any statistical ranking.
