With Mulkey's verbal, some thoughts on recruiting

With both her mother and aunt being pretty good in college, she probably has a lot better preparation than the typical tall girl. They went through it. It wouldn't be surprising to find that they both had a similar growth spurt.

She does a lot of things well. You really do have to wonder why she is only rated #21. Players who are 6-9 or 6-10 and have skills don't grow on trees.

I think it's because of the "Project factor", I still think Mulkey will turn out to be at lest as good as allyssa dehaan, another 6'9 girl who played in the big 10. Mulkey should developed in to an All big 12 type of post. I saw a rumor on the internet that she has had some type of lower leg/foot issues before, but I can't find any confirmation on that.

OU must want D Richards(2017, 6-0, SG) and Mallory Vaughn(2017,6-4). DeCosta now follows them. She also started following 2017 Alaysia Styles(6-1, G) from California.

Really sounds like Mulkey likes OU alot... I hope she can help us pull in a few more big fish...

Mac, I think Mulkey's commitment has to help us some with recruiting guards and wings. I just have to believe there are a lot of kids that would like to play with a big center like Mulkey. I sure hope so anyway.
