Woodard great article.

Great article! Jordan, thanks for all your awesome contributions.... Here's what I will remember when I think of Woodard:

1. Calm under pressure
2. Very good shooter
3. Good passer
4. Steals/Great anticipation on D
5. Great leaper for his size. At 6 feet throwing down with two hands. Which leads to..
6. Great rebounder for his size

Marcus, if you are still on here you have alot to be proud of! I met you and Jordan's mom before the Alabama game years ago, then saw y'all at Atlantis.. Good luck to Jordan in the future, and come back here and keep us updated on his career!

Wow! Great write-up!! Jordan, you were a great player! I always enjoyed watching you play! Great shooter....and you had a knack for pulling off some great passes!!

Good luck in the future!

I love people who love their home town!

Best of luck to Jordan in everything he does!

Jordan, you are what being a kid from Oklahoma and wearing the Sooner uniform is all about.
Really enjoyed watching you play all four years, and seeing your progression. Just sorry to see it end this way, and hope the best for you in the future. I would also like to give a shout out to your parents for raising such an incredible and respectable young man. Good luck

Great tribute to an outstanding young man and a class act in every way!

Thanks for four terrific years, Jordan! Wish it could have ended on a positive note for you and the team. Best of luck in whatever you do in the future!!! :OUbball-logo:

Ill always remember the drastic improvement in his shooting. Never seen an improvement like that and Hields. I loved that part of the article where he says he wasnt a great shooter

IMO he's always been a very good outside shooter, he just kind of had a soph slump kind of season. He shot 37% from the 3 pt line his freshman year, which is very solid. But his soph year he shot 25%, which is horrible....only to explode last year for 45%! This year he shot 36%...but I think alot of that had to do with the injuries, etc. Plus he was a focal point this year...and didn't get nearly as many of open looks like last year. That makes a BIG difference!

That's why I think C. James can have a big year next year. With Young coming in and McGusty improving...he make get a lot more open looks..and I bet his shooting % really jumps next year. I also hope Odomes really works on his outside shot over the summer. If he can prove to be a threat with his jumper...he could be lethal, since he can already take it to the hoop.

Another player who dramatically improved their 3 pt shot year over year was Corey Brewer. He was a juco, but his junior year, he shot like 27% from the arc, then it jumped up to almost 40% his Senior year!!!!

Jordan Woodard is one of my all-time players for OU! Hometown kid who would put his body on the line for his team and coaches; how could you not respect a man like that? I hate how this season ended, but if these last four years have taught us anything about JW, it will not be the last time we hear from Jordan! As many have said his work ethic and character are second to none! Hold your head up High JWood and know you laid it all out on the court... and for that we are proud, your teammates are proud, your coaches and your family are proud; but most importantly for that you can and should be proud!!!!

Hope they do something special for him today! Something new and different. He's big time and deserves it

yup, Quality young man, as a parent, THAT is more important than basketball. He was pretty dang good with the roundball as well!

Good luck with his future.
