Yes, it would frusterate me when they would get the ball in and then wait for the pressure to close on them. I don't know if they were waiting for the rest of the Sooners to get set before they started moving. Maybe that was the plan. It seemed to work most of the time but I yelled a couple of times wanting them to just take off as soon as the got the ball.
Thomas is good because he is usually being guard by a forward when he gets the ball and he has enough control to get around those players.
I think they wanted to see where the trap was coming from before they made a decision. If they attack as soon as they get the ball then they can't see the double team coming or it might come from behind and they don't know who's open. Even though they wait a little longer before making a decision they allow themselves to identify what is going to be open, so all they had to do was attack the trap to get a passing angle then they had 4-3s or 3-2s all night. Also they did a much better job of coming to meet the pass than at WVU.
