Worst Sports Fans in America

Whether you want to believe it or not, OSU and OU fans are basically the same...

False. OU and Texas fans are basically the same. OSU fans are that annoying little neighborhood kid that insist in playing pick-up games with the older kids. He's obnoxious and he thinks he's as good as the big kids. Everyone else realizes he's something of a joke, but he's completely ignorant to the situation.

I talked with some Texas fans this past week and they said this is the same relationship they have with A & M.

I never see the OU fan base calling a three-way Southern division tie a literal banner season.

Today, the most annoying fans in Tulsa were the UNLV contingent.Today, I listened to 8 different fanbases and I wasn't really annoyed until the UNLV people started screaming. These people pissed and moaned about every single thing that happened.
Reminded me of OSU fans.

The only time I've had anything of mine be vandalized was when I had my OSU bumper sticker scratched off, leaving a bunch of unsightly scratches all over my bumper, when I was in Norman to see a show at the Opolis last summer.

Also got called an "orange faggot" at the '05 OSU-OU basketball game in Norman. It was the most hurtful thing I had been called since the insult clown at the Oklahoma State Fair said I looked liked I enjoyed eating dog poop when I was about 7. :( :( :( :( :jcapel

Verdict: OU fans are vandalizing jerks and insult clowns are good at what they do, because I couldn't knock him in the water.

EDIT - However, I went to a OU vs Alcorn State game when I was 12 or 13 or so, and trying to show my OSU pride, I wore an OSU shirt, and all 14 OU fans at the game were very pleasant and made some friendly, "You sure you're in the right place?" type jokes!

Verdict: All OU fans are friendly, jokesters.

That description of Lakers fans sort of reminded me of what I've heard recently about KU men's basketball fans (those who were also probably K-State football fans during the Snidely Whiplash glory days).
