I really like how hard Wyatt plays, and I know that she has potential to hit some shots, but I really think she needs to come off the bench. I think she would
be a really good shooter to bring off the bench to help spark the team. That seems to fit her role more to me.

I really liked the way Edwards looked out there today. 5 assists and several rebounds?

Gabbi and Edwards in the game at the same time was actually pretty fun. I think Edwards is quick enough it can give Gabbi a break handling the ball, and I also think it could help Gabbi get going offensively. Ortiz can do more!

I think I would. Edwards is a heck of an athlete and can make plays. We need playmakers to beat good teams.

I think Edwards is a bit like Kendra Moore. I think she blossoms later in her career with more minutes a.

I would start her over Wyatt for the same reason Kruger starts Isiah at point with Woodard. We are going to need more firepower than we show now and I would play her to see if she is hitting and, if not, then Edwards comes in. Gabby and Edwards together might be like Isaiah and Woodard together.

They are different types of players. Derica operates a bit more effectively out of sets. T'Ona is better if we get into trapping defenses.

Derica actually has midrange jumpers to go along with the potential of a three. She also plays pretty solid defense and rarely turns the ball over. I think she has only nine turnovers for the season.

Tiny isn't that strong in a set. She keeps trying to drive inside where she gets trapped and loses the ball. Her 24 turnovers lead the team. She needs to have confidence in her three in order to remain on the court when a set is needed. Otherwise, there is no reason to guard her, leaving the defense to watch Peyton, Maddie, and Gabbi with more intent.

On the other hand, she can make things happen when we put on a press. We don't win tonight unless we have T'Ona and Maddie at the end of the game. That is their specialty, doing what they others can't.

I agree, Derica's strength is she is fundamentally sound and is really good in a set situations, T'ona plays really good defense and does an adequate job of handling the ball in pressure situations. It's a push for me, use both kids to their strengths and what ever situations suits the team.

Sometimes we just need someone with speed on the perimeter. That's where we miss Gioya. Normally, I like the idea of Gabbi and T'ona spelling each other at point, but when have the need for speed, T'ona is far in advance of Lanesia. So I think we start Derica, and use T'ona when needed.
