There are so many basketball athletes can jump out of the gym and already know how to play that go to some of the smallest colleges while we always appear to get guys that need to develop. Rhode Island. Really?

We must shoot near 50 percent to ever win. Today we shoot 42 percent, out rebound them by 13, Rhode Island shoots 39 percent and they win. Because they know how.

We shot 4-20 from 3

Modern basketball is built around the 3

I don’t think you notice how many small schools don’t have good teams. We tend to lump them all together. Very few of them are consistently strong.

Also we give open or lightly contested 3s.. Give up a mid range shot for once.. Make guys put the ball on the floor. No Manek and James play off and just have a hand up. That's not good enough.

I don't know about RI, but many of these type schools play mainly Juniors and Seniors. Experience counts.
