Norman North’s Trae Young and Choctaw’s Ana Llanusa headline the state’s nominees for the annual McDonald’s All-American Games in Chicago on March 29.

Young is regarded as a top-20 recruit nationally, with Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kentucky and Texas Tech as his top five college selections remaining.

Llanusa is a five-star guard according to ESPN.com who signed with OU. She’s been on The Oklahoman’s Super 5 team the past three seasons.

Joining Young among the boys nominees are Tulsa Union’s Ethan Chargois and Adrian Rodriguez along with Tulsa Central’s Elijah Landrum.

Edmond Santa Fe’s Jo’Nah Johnson — a Central Oklahoma signee — and Del City’s trio of Ossyana Ozoani, Jakira Wilson and Karley Woulard join Llanusa on the girls nomination list.

I haven't seen Llanusa but seen some videos of Young..Not sure where he will end most think it will Kansas..just what they need

Well unfortunately Llanusa didn't make the team... it seem like they went with more of a Post team this year when they normally pick more guards...

This will be the 4th straight year Texas has 2 players in the game, and the 3rd straight year Baylor will have 2 players in the game... it's one of the reasons they're the top 2 teams in the conference and getting top 10 kids year in and year out will only continue to draw top talent...

True. They continue to maintain a highly competitive program year in and year out because of their recruiting goals and strategies. Below is the link to the McDonald's final roster. Also...many athletes are "nominated". It only requires that their coach submit the request to their local McDonald's restaurant. There are lots of factors involved with voting for final roster.

Patterson from Texas and Davis from Florida who both made the team were considering OU at one time and Davis even took an official visit to OU, the staff just couldn't close the door on them, but I look at that as a step in the right direction with regards to recurring

I think that at least three of the four for Tennessee are actually good. We wanted two.

All 4 of those kids are good. They also just got a commitment from one of the top 2018 guards. Tennesse will be good within the next 2 or 3 years
