I was surprised about Sears. I think he can play. I know he’s not the tallest point guard, but he’s strong, can lead a team, and stick the open three. I still think he can make a team, but what do I know?
They need to move Zion. IMHO, you can’t depend on him to be the anchor of the franchise. I know you won’t get a great deal for him, but this will be addition by subtraction. Believing all of that, it makes the trade all the more crazy. I like Queen and Fears; I don’t like the unprotected pick.
Wow, I didn’t realize that connection. I remember Snake. He’s a little older than me. I’m a John Marshall grad. My senior year, we won the men’s basketball state championship, but we also lost three times to Star Spencer!
It appears she played for the Irish U16 and 18U teams. The last couple of years she averaged around 10 points and eight rebounds per game. I don’t see her listed on the roster at Sooner Sports. Definitely a potentially interesting story.
IMHO, I still think tournament performance has to be part of the equation. If they win a tourney game and are at least competitive in round of 32 (and roster is not a shambles for following season), I think he should stay. That would be progress to me.
You do seem to Iike using over the top inflammatory language about a team of which you are supposedly a fan. That’s going to attract inflammatory responses. The portal has been a disappointment so far, but that doesn’t negate all of the good things that have happened with the women’s basketball...
