It's common sense. They are selling a commodity. All that stuff that sounds too good to be true, etc, it's nothing but clickbait and attempts of gaining subscriptions. That's why it sounds how it sounds, and is written how it is written.
Not sure why you are making THAT comment in response to this post of mine.
I stated in another post that he is consistent and that I expect to be in that same range next year, regardless of the roster. Not good enough for me.
I'm guessing we lose at least two from:
Brown, Reid, Rogers, Atak, Forsythe, and Holst
I actually think Brown and Reid stay. So it would be at least two from the rest of the list. Sounds like Forsythe has one foot out the door.
You could disappear for several months again, like you did for this season once OU started losing? Maybe your teams need some of your fabulous coaching this spring?
Wait and see. I'd be shocked if we duplicated the success of last year's Portal class. On paper, we really out did ourselves. And at times, we saw that talent in how we played. Not sure if we got lucky, got some discounts, or maybe even spent a little more than the rumors suggest we spent...
Regardless of how you feel about Moser, or what money you think we'll have for next season, you hit on the one thing I think is important.
Do we really expect to have a more talented roster, on paper, than we had this year? Better than a top 10-11 Portal class (top 6 by average recruit...
Ugh, Tulsa been watching OU too much, finding ugly ways to lose. Up 3 late, inbounding on the baseline, and get a 5 second call with two timeouts in your pocket. Auburn hits a 3, they go to OT, and Tulsa loses.
That after being down 21 and fighting back.
He isn't terrible (31.8%). He shot it better than Forsythe, and just behind Reid and Jones. Looks like he gets the rim and shoots FT's. He shot more than 50 more FT's than anybody on our team.
Not a starter, but I wouldn't hate him as maybe the second guard off the bench.
