Watched the first game again. Our defense was very good butt our offense was like street ball and a series of contests. Shooting from the longest distance, winner was Verhulst by a wide margin. The largest number of the most difficult shots, Vann by a huge margin with a 1-10 field goal mark. She also won the most shots blocked award

We did have good bench support from Stewart, Smith and Lofton.

We really are not a good three point shooting team and unlikely to get better. So we should reduce the number especially early in the game. We do better going to Beers more and more movement of the ball and without the ball.

Now that she hasn’t been dominating the ball handing, she’s gotten more open shots and she’s hitting them. Hope it continues!

The weather and lack of marquee opponent kept the crowd down last night...my guess is 3500 or so actual people in seats. Official attendance was 4,624.
