#11 OU at #22 Louisville 4pm 12/4

LV is the favorite per ESPN analytics, and I wonder why. If we can't beat them, then idk what to make of this team. We need to win these early season matchups against ranked opponents, in order to help with our tourney seeding, IMO.

I’ve said for 3 yrs our basic skills, dribbling and passing are not good. It gets covered up with this run/gun offense.

Louisville just playing more aggressive and tougher than us. Killing us on the boards and aggressive defense has us panicking and making turnovers. 33 shots for them and only 18 shots for us.

Its like our girls are jumping for rebounds and they come up from behind and get the rebounds. And it bothers me that Beers starts the second quarter, plays two minutes and has to go out. Is she not in shape? We are letting them dictate our game by playing two bigs at once, and our running game is nonexistent. Skylar getting two early fouls hurt, and Zya was struggling as was Peyton

Example..
A pass to the post as coming down the court.. travel
A cross court pass with def up on their ass.. stolen

Just a joke.

We were panicking and continually trying to make the home run play instead of the simple solid play. 18 turnovers and we are lucky to only be down 12 at half. Get the ball to Verhulst who scored 10 and get Beers/Skylar to stay out of fouls trouble and we miraculously could still have a chance.

Got it to 5… then the same crap.

Love the Sooners we just are missing a lot of basic skills to compete with the top.

We suck. Second ranked opponent and it's going to be a second loss in a row. Not like we've had a week to prepare for this matchup or anything. Our girls are throwing the ball to no one and committing silly turnovers just because they are outmatched in athleticism. I was really thinking this team could be special with a good center on the roster but we are proving that the guards are incapable of helping her out right now. Very disappointing. Down 11 after 3

-9 in turnover margin and -7 in offensive rebound margin have lead to Louisville having 19 more shots than us. Down 60-49 after Q3

68-66 with 3:28 left…if nothing else we do always have a chance to come back from big deficits.

Clawing back but again our basics are not good.

I cheer and want us to win, but as a former coach I look at other things then just the score

Ya we get to the line… but man about 3 really basic bad things on that…lol

Naysayers shut up. This team has a lot of grit and won't quit. They sure as hell didn't play like this in the last years of the Sherri and her brat era.
Let's be behind them and see if they can't make some noise this year.
