yikes. that was even uglier than I anticipated.

- Trae was good. Split time with Jordan much more. Focused much more on D and had a ton of steals. It's hard to say if the steals were good or just bad play by the Sharks. I give us credit for actually bearing down and defending though.

- Brady played better ball but didnt shoot as well as the other night. He actually looked like he knew where he was supposed to be defensively. He certainly got more familiar with what coach wants from him.

- James played well and shot well.

- Polla looked good except for ham-handing a few passes.

- Ty was aggressive. I like his game. He has a good motor.

There's just only so much that you can take away from this game. It was good experience for the team and they certainly looked more at ease defensively. They picked up at 3/4 court a lot and tried to play tighter on the ball. It actually looked like organized ball vice street ball.

I'd say good progress from last game defensively and James' play were the highlights.

I watched the first 3 quarters. I agree with you coolm. I was impressed with Polla's back to the basket moves. I was also impressed with McNeace's patience under the basket. That said the Sharks were very undersized inside so...

One other highlight was the Manek dunk over a guy in the 2nd Quarter.

Manek understands how to play the game which we were lacking last year.

When Trae came in and pressured their PG, it changed the game for everyone. Apparently he is the only one that can play aggressive D. Freeman has not improved much playing D and RBing.

I thought Odomes had a solid game and he pressures the ball as well

Trae is the only one on the team who played aggressive D?

You and I didn't watch the same game.

no. Lattin and CJ both played some tight defense as well. you need to be kind and rewind.
