#13 OU at #2 South Carolina 2pm 1/19

Going to be a very tough match up.

Stating the obvious but if the team continues the 21+ TO in conf play, won’t be close.
 
49-24 beat down in the 1st half. South Carolina playing near their best and we are playing near our worst.

lol ok… I actually had to do paint job today so i just got done… checked in the score.

So, what’s your problem with anything I’ve posted?

I’ve said multiple times, because of my background I look at the games more analytical …

You tell me why the team makes unforced TO’s.. and how not stopping those will help the team?

Just a guess but I’ve probably got more vested time in women’s basketball than you.

Obviously I don’t enjoy the losses that could have been prevented. I’m also a realist. Have you ever watch SC play? They are really good… athletic, smooth, just a different level than OU.

The 40 point spread proves everything I’ve said. Prove me wrong..

South Carolina put the belt to the ass of Oklahoma. Embarrassing as hell. Raegan Beers isn’t even 100% and she played better then anyone on the team today.
This Jennie Baranczyk style of playing isn’t going to cut it for this team. Better yet it isn’t going to cut it for her as well.
Im starting to question Jennie Baranczyk coaching ability, yes I have gotten to this point. Why are your guards not shooting midrange jump shots? Why are your guard look so nervous with the ball in their hands when they can EASILY shoot the midrange… then Turnovers on Turnovers. This is getting tiring of seeing the same stuff going on year 4 now. Like there has got to be some kind of DISCIPLINE and I don’t see it. This whole lineup needs a change. Except Beers and Verhulst. But Verhulst didn’t even play well today either.
It gets uglier and uglier as the season goes on it feels like. Like im not seeing a progress in NOTHING Jennie is doing with this team. Atp last years team was better then this years team and you can’t sit here and tell me it wasn’t because it was atp.
Man I truly hope this game opens this team eyes and ESPECIALLY for Jennie. Ridiculous coaching by her in ALL aspect of the game today.

I want JoeC to let us fans see Jennie’s practices, because something tells me they don’t do nothing but shoot 3’s and lob the ball inside ALL practice long. Oh and get taught how to turn the ball over the best way possible
 
I knew it would be a tough game to begin with. Good ol skeeter or whatever his handle is thinks I’m enjoying these losses, far from it.

I coached (just hs) my sis played at kstate, is in Ks HS hall of fame for her Sr hs yr undefeated season.

She’s appalled at the lack of fundamentals that the team shows.

Like Bob said, even if we played our best, we lose by 20… SC is in another zone…which there are about 10 teams that are in zone… we are not.

That’s the issue with the women’s side. UConn/tenn/ etc were the “queens” for years. There is a little more parity but not like the men’s side.

When I watch those top teams, then OU… there is a difference. In athleticism… which is smoothness, ball handling, etc.

I support the team, hope they win, want them to win.. but I’ll call it like it is. If that makes me a non fan to some, so be it.

Didn’t watch it. Just checked on the game and looked at the box score . Shot the ball poorly. We don’t do that usually. Turnovers continue to be a problem. Appears they couldn’t miss a shot. And all of these mismatchs in talent can get out of hand on the road.

I think jennie struggles at times getting the ladies to play fast but not hurry in their decision making. Hurrying leads to turnovers and bad fundamentals, particularly in shooting

Not bad coaching and i am in the minority but i had “doubling” in the post and giving up open shots from the 3 line. One of my biggest beefs with moser. In games i have watched jennie tries trapping too much for as little success we have with it. If it doesn’t work someone is getting an open 3. Don’t know if that was an issue in this game

I don't think there are that many (10) teams in another zone. SC obviously, maybe UCLA, and the other SC(southern cal), LSU is on the edge of that zone. UCONN used to be but on the edge now. Texas is closer to the zone that we are although we should have beaten them here. With everyone we are losing, Jenny going to have to try to hit the portal hard to get Raegan some help for her last year. She could start by letting KJ play more than Bea and more Scott less Tot
 
Some of our fans live in a dream world. South Carolina has 8 former McDonald's All Americans plus a few that probably could have been. They are stronger and quicker than we are. Dawn Staley has been at SC since 2008. She won her first NC in 2017. Jennie is in her 4th year at OU and has done a remarkable job in that short time. Our women played hard and never quit. Did they have too many turnovers? Yes. Some were unforced. Some were because of good plays by SC. If it were easy to coach unforced turnovers out of a team, no team would have any.
