Bob, I was also curious about that. Jennie looked really mad. Wonder what happened that sent her off.
As for the game, I thought we played pretty well mostly, but per the usual, we made way too many "silly" turnovers. There are turnovers that occur even though a player is exercising good judgment -- you will always have some of these and they don't bother me. Then, there are just silly mindless decisions that lead to turnovers. These types of turnovers make the women's game tough to watch sometimes. During Sherri's last few years, I had to quit watching the ladies we had so many mindless unnecessary turnovers. I thought towards the last half of last year, we really cut down on these types of plays. Watching Jennie, she clearly is dealing with these mistakes and so I would imagine we will improve this year like we did last year. IMO, this is the issue that could keep us from making a real run at a final four this year. If we can't get the girls to get their heads in the game a little more and make better decisions, we may waste the opportunity Beers and our overall roster gives us.
BTW, I thought Culliton looks substantially improved last night. She looked really good. I bet playing against Beers every day has really helped her up her game.
