#13 OU at #7 LSU 6pm 1/30

Going to be another tough game… keep the TO’s down … would love to beat mulkey at her house.

think this is definitely a loss. Just hope it’s not as bad as SC. Hope they prove me wrong and make me look like an idiot

Just not athletic enough… lsu has players that look like dudes… that’s the difference.

What a weird game. Great comeback after we got totally out of rhythm in Q2 and the early part of Q3…down 24 and then we started pressing them and Zya was a terror making steals. That got us back in the game and we calmed down and started playing well again. Down 1 and as said above we had a chance to get defensive board to have the ball and a chance to take the lead in the last 20 seconds.

Verhulst had 26 and Beers had 20. Really important game Sunday vs Kentucky

I noticed Jennie and Kim having a spirited conversation in the handshake line. I found it hilarious that Jennie got a T for what she did since I've seen Kim do things much worse and never gotten a T when I was watching unless she got one for her strip in the NCAA tournament in OKC. Did she get the T after her player fouled Payton late in tthe game or was it the bench?

You can guarantee that Sulky Mulkey started the conversation! Typical Mulkey game. They pretty much did the same thing last year against South Carolina. LSU/Baylor were almost always involved when there is a scuffle, etc in a women’s game. Just wait until LSU plays texas, you will most likely see the same.

When payton doesn’t play hurried and she didn’t ans beers and bea play as physically as they did we can play with anyone. Never seen beers play as tough as she did yesterday.

And i broke down and watched the game. I had sworn off watching until they started taking care of the ball but I couldn’t help myself. It was lsu v ou. Still too many mind numbing decision turnovers but fewer and a good watch

One of the things i have always loved about jennie’s teams there is usually no quit in them. They just play until the refs say they have to quit. Just me, but that is one of best things you can say about a coach.

I loved that they didn't let LSU intimidate them.

I just wish we could win a game against a good team this season. we have yet to win that one game we probably shouldn't have won. Technically Kentucky is one of those opportunities but i believe they are very overrated. If we don't beat them, then this team just doesn't have it, IMO. We've got to pick up some ranked wins (pref win out) in order to maintain a top 4 seeding, forget a #3 seed at this point. So frustrating, you'd think with Beers this year we'd be better than last year's team, but idk if we actually are. I feel like with Vann and Tot being nonfactors this season, and increased TO rate we're pretty much breaking even and about the same. Not having Scott probably cost us this game, and it will hurt Sunday as well.

One thing's for certain, the SEC is MUCH tougher than the Big 12 was! If we were in the B12 this season we'd have very little problems winning again, IMO. At this rate we'll end up 5th or so in the SEC :(

I just think it's typically frustrating that pretty much any time we play teams with an elite guard she will have a career night against us. THAT is something our coaches need to look at and keep players accountable for - we just don't guard players without fouling. I believe part of it is a talent issue, but part of it is a mindset, which is what defense is all about, IMO.

Bothered me when they went on a 10-0 run and we didn't call time out. Can't give up so many second chances either. Moral victory I guess
