Spot on…JB seems to be fine with high risk high reward passing that leads to a lot of turnovers. Our offense just isn't patient, I get wanting to play fast, but if you are a mediocre 3 point team it can hurt you in tight games which I think we have seen lately.
Ya, tuned in 13/7 OU… lol now down by 10.Well I haven't been watching on TV because the last few games have been frustrating and just by following online it looks like nothing has changed in the week we've had to practice. We just are not good enough this season. This is a second round tournament team at best. Coach really failed this team by not grabbing any portal players and relying entirely on freshmen and returning players. Big mistake. No one else in the SEC was dumb enough to do it... This is what we paid for though in a coach of JB's caliber. A good coach, but not a great coach and the results are showing.
It just looks like the game comes easier to more talented teams. Our girls are trying to do things they just are not capable of doing. Hitting one out of every three or four offensive possessions is just not going to be good enough. At this rate we will be lucky to be a top 16 seed because our record against ranked opponents is abysmal right now and moving forward. So frustrating, I really thought this year we would be right up there with the top tier. To me this says the coaching is not good enough. I don't believe we will make a final four let alone a national championship under this staff.
Disagree, there’s a ton of reasons…Any time you have a game where one team has 20 free-throws in the first half and the other has only 4, you have issues beyond the play on the court by the players.
I agree but OU must learn to guard and not foul, those fouls happens against OU because they trying to guard girls that are much better athletes and has a proven coach on the sidelineAny time you have a game where one team has 20 free-throws in the first half and the other has only 4, you have issues beyond the play on the court by the players.
