Coach Kruger won't run anyone off...won't have to. In the past 20 years, I would take an educated guess that there was some "attrition" in 18 of those years. With odds like that, you may as well take an extra body.

I don't think LK will "run" anyone off. That's not his style. "Things" just happen. We had no idea that Hornbeak would transfer this time last year. Houston didn't think TaShawn Thomas would transfer. Players leave a program for many reasons ..... playing time, they lose interest in playing, want to concentrate more on school, homesick, girlfriends, coaching changes, etc.

The highest current probability is Thomas being allowed to play this year. That would open up a 3rd scholarship for next season (Manyang, Odomes, and hopefully Shake).

Odomes looks like a really good get the more I read about him!
 
Big, I think shake is down to OU and IU. We'll know soon after his visit to IU. It's been mentioned but his AAU MOKAN teammate just committed to IU.

He visited OSU 3 weeks ago I believe. I'm hoping this is a positive for OSU as he seemed to be the # 3 guard on our list. (not meant negatively) Evans and Gilder being the others that OSU is after hard.

I hope this means OSU will get one of the other guys. This guy will be a good player in college I think.

Looking at our recruiting, I'm starting to think this is the truth. And it's WAY too early to base that on his play or projected draft position, so I think Hield must be ready to start providing for his family. Much like M'Baye last year. I understand that, I suppose. Would still like to see him back for his senior year though.
 
Osu is about to get Elijah thomas. Top 20 player nationally and juwan Evans I believe.
 
WT- it's truth. I hope he stays but ALL signs point to him leaving.

That is true. But, they believe that because they completely believe that Buddy will blow up this year.

I agree that LK won't run anyone off. That's one of the things I like about him. But if C. J. Cole wants more than mop up duty his junior and senior seasons, he may have to transfer to get it.

I like the kid. I was all for bringing him in two years ago. Yet, nothing I have seen so far tells me he has the potential to contribute at some point, even as a back up. On the contrary, the odds of him getting meaningful playing time went down considerably when OU signed Lattin, McNeace and Thomas, not to mention Manyang in the 2015 class. In other words, LK recruited over him, and I see no reason to believe that trend won't continue.
 
I am all for coaches being honest with guys like CJ and telling him it is unlikely they will get many minutes but I don't like coaches that run kids simply because it turns out they will not be major contributors.
 
Don't discount SMU in Shake's recruitment. The ponies are currently leading for him imo.

I think OSU gets it's top two guard recruits in Evans and Gilder but Thomas is headed to Illinios.

Odomes is underrated imo. He's a four star talent.

I dont think SMU is anywhere but 3rd in this race. SMU has fallen out of graces with a lot of good players. Matt Mcquad decommited and is now going to MSU.
