Tennessee doesn't have the horses Duke has. None of those teams have the horses that Duke has. But hey man, keep on comparing Auburn, Bama (which Duke beat by 20 and it wasn't even that close) and Tennessee to Duke. WOW. This place sometimes.

Watching Sampson teams over the years, that's what the guy does best is keep it close. There were OU teams that had no right being in games with "more talented" teams at times, but he was willing to play the "drag it through the mud style". This team is no different but with better shooters than he's had in a while. I wouldn't bet on Houston (I picked Duke to win this game) but I also wouldn't bet against Kelvin to "keep it close". He's just been in this situation too many times to feel any different to me. Duke could win this game by 20 if Houston isn't making anything. But I would bet on a 5-10 point game more than I would a blowout for Duke.

It’ll be especially fun when he comes on to brag if Duke does win, even though almost none of us is predicting a Houston win. I picked Duke to win the title in every contest I’m in, but for him to act like Houston is a plucky Cinderella is a joke considering the fact they are one of the top teams in the KenPom era.

I’m rooting for UH, would be happy to see Sampson win a title (for me especially over SEC peers, understand most hate Duke too). Metrics heavily favor Duke, seems like an uncontroversial statement that it will be tough matchup for Houston.

Big difference in saying it's a tough matchup and Duke should win, versus coming on here saying Houston has no chance is going to get boat raced, then doubling down on it.

Way different teams. Duke still beat them with that good not great team they had last year. With far less talent.

Last year they were torched by Kansas and Iowa State. Two years ago Memphis beat them handedly. They also lost to Temple. Not sure how that's possible. But hey, here we are. 3 years ago Villanova, Memphis twice. 4 years ago Baylor and East Carolina. 5 years ago Oregon and Uconn. You're welcome.

While Sampson is good, it seems when he faces a team with any semblance of talent, they struggle a little recently.

I don't think anyone here is denying the talent Duke has. Many have even stated they expect Duke to win. I think the breakdown here lies in that you are acting like a top 10 Kenpom team OF ALL TIME is going to get boat raced by anyone. People know that Duke is good. I think they're taking exception to the way you're talking about a Houston team that is statistically one of the best college basketball teams ever. Maybe you haven't watched as much of this year's Houston team as you think? I don't know. But they are damn good. And anyone that can defend the way they do has a shot to beat anybody.
