2026 recruiting

do yall think we really upped our NIL that much?
Because our performance is not good under Moser, our arena and fan excitement sucks, and yet we seem to be in more with higher recruits lately

Unsourced speculation but I assumed they had some recent success with getting more NIL resources if only because they’re winning transfer portal more. Moser has done ok with highly touted HS guys (getting commits, not arguing development) before this offseason.

Dylan Mingo is visiting OU in October per Brody Lusk
Cool. I just don't know what's a better bang for your buck.

A 5 star that hasn't played yet in D1 (and how expensive thatd be plus development time from the jump to D1) or a more established transfer player (like Pack) that you have more data points on and probably costs less.. The 5 star brings more hype tho too and could be a silver bullet to attract other players too. Tough call

Great point, although if it's a player like Fears...it can work out very well. Have you watched Mingo play any?? He's really good, can score off the dribble, has good size for a guard and a nice jumper. He tends to dribble a little too much at times, but would be worth a shot for sure.
