It’s a new day for OU basketball. Lon couldn’t do this, but give props to Porter.

it's not a new day. porter has been getting decent high school talent (according to various rankings) since he's been here.
he just hasn't been able to turn that recruiting success into wins.

Agreed, but even Lon did for a bit and then it died off. The fact that we can do this year over year is something that I'm impressed with overall. But yes, Porter has done this consistently. Time to build on last year's tournament berth.

porter needs to start hanging on to his high school recruits. especially the good ones.
all of them have transferred so far.

Um, Jeremiah worked out okay for his time here.

IMO, Fears, his success, and his draft pick will pay more dividends than Los and Oweh both on the court and for future recruits.
