One thing that occurred to me regarding the portal. Agents and other teams will float rumors to try to help their cause and hurt the cause of other teams. I always found the early Crooks to OU rumor hard to believe. It occurred to me that if other teams could get recruits to believe that a player was going to team A, it could hurt team A's chances with other players who played the same position.

Bro it’s fine if you don’t like Aaliyah that’s absolutely your decision but I’m tired of you acting like she’s the only one at fault and these little digs you always come with. Zya Vann, Payton Verhulst, Sahara Williams, Raegan Beers, and Jennie & Co were ALL at fault as well, even more so because they’re upperclassmen who should know better.

And yes Aaliyah made mistakes, freshmen mistakes, that she needs to correct but My God lay off Bro, she like all of our Freshmen deserve a little grace their first time out regardless of their acumen.

Not when you pay a million dollars for them and give them 40 minutes a game. They could have had multiple big players for that. The reason LSU and UCLA backed off. And then had to pay it again to retain her. Be tired of it all you want. I have harped on them all. And said many types I like Chavez. It’s the coaches fault they let her shoot like that. Coaches fault they left Williams in throwing passes to nobody. When you have an All American center, you use her. She should have been first priority.
Little digs? I firmly stand on it. I didn’t see one thing I would have paid a million for and most people agree. Look outside of this board. You all complain daily about the portal, but can’t see why we don’t get players. Open your eyes. Bro.

Which will be the norm more and more for top players. Bro.

What big players could they have had?

Do you know the exact # we payed for her? The exact points in her contract?

And I agree man, the coaches have a lot to answer for in regards to development and play, it seems like a lot of us can agree on that, But you don’t get a shooter to not shoot.

When to shoot, where to shoot, when to pass, are all things she needs to learn and adjust to at this level, as do they ALL, but her ability, whether you recognize it or not, is a huge plus to this team to grow alongside the young players we do have.

They’re not digs. I would say the same if they paid any of their players that amount. It’s not personal. We needed more than Chavez and still do. I never said I didn’t want Chavez, I’ve actually said the opposite. The post I replied to talked about OSU paying 1.4 million. I don’t think any school needs to pay that and they’re not. Except us and Little brother. And OU did pay that. Dumb to do. I’m not here just for Zya Vann either. She made her decision, And I definitely won’t be joining that board. But I, like many others have my thoughts and will express them. There’s more negative people than me in here for sure. Not going to be positive Pat when we’re looking at a roster of 7 sophomores and 3 freshmen.
