#23 in This Week’s AP Poll

Just in time for Iowa State to come to town!

It is going to be interesting. I have hope we can pull this off. It is amazing to me how well our newbies are playing. I have seen so many OU players that turned out to be really good who took one or two years to develop before they became major contributors. I sure hope it keeps going. Even if we lose this game it still looks like a fun season.

Heck, we might even beat No. 2 if we played them again.

#2? Who is that?

I do believe we can beat Iowa State, we beat them last year and we know we're better this year, not sure how much better they are? Once Gabby gets more action and gets all of the rust out that makes us that much better. If only Ana could come back fairly soon, we'd be a real contender for conference.

Things I've observed thus far, of B12 teams:
KSU is legit
BU is beatable, but still good
Texas is good, but I believe still beatable (they have many injuries)
WVU is not as good right now as I predicted, but still dangerous

Unless we have a bad night against teams like Kansas or TCU, I believe those teams are the only teams that can beat us, and not twice either. We will see, there's TONS of ball left to be played, God willing!!

LOL. Pardon this old brain of mind. Got Stanford and Oregon confused.

If that held true I believe we could make it to the Sweet Sixteen. No doubt ND is good and it would be tough, but doable. I'm sure things will shake up before then, it'll be interesting to see where we end up!

Fingers crossed we can go on the road and beat KSU, who I believe is very good!

KSU's height might be more than we can handle. Their starting lineup is 6'6", 6'1", 6'1", 6'0" and 6'0". Hopefully our quickness and transition game will offset their length. Tech does have some height at 6'3" 6'1", 6'1", 5'11" and 5'9".

I am hoping the shoot like they did against UR Tech (28.6% FG, 23.1% BTA and -9 boards. Although that game was in Lubbock. The other wildcat losses are @ #1 South Carolina 17-1, @ #4 North Carolina State 17-2 and #7 ISU. Tech appears to be the anomaly.
