She was warming up about 15 minutes before tip, she left the floor before the rest of team and returned just before tip in street clothes. She has been sitting away from team but is in huddle during time outs

Iowa St just the better team tonight 81-71 final. Everyone face guards Taylor but Lexi Donarski did the best job of anyone so far this year holding Taylor to 8 points and only 2 3s. We couldn’t get Skylar Vann going tonight so our offense was mostly Madi. Key stat was rebounding with ISU getting 16 offensive boards to our 7 offensive boards. Add that to the turnover difference and ISU took 14 more shots than we did.

Not a good game for us. I was wrong about Iowa State's inside game. They killed us with their bigs. Seemed like Van was always guarding them and she just wasn't big enough to stop them.

Thought our help defense was not there much tonight. Also missed too many close in shots. Van missed several and that is very unlike her.

Will be interesting how the team responds to this loss. And how we get Taylor open more against the face guarders.
