5th Year Transfer Thread

It would be great to get a 5th year transfer. This team needs a ready made big guy. We tried to get Black last year which would have helped us a bunch. He would have played more for us than he did KU.

Any PG's that would be content in a backup role? Probably not.

theres really something to this?? i just threw out that name... is NMSU losing a lot of talent or what?

UNM is losing two stud seniors, Kendall Williams and Cameron Bairstow. If they lost Kirk, that would be epic, because they wouldn't have any double-figure scorers coming back for next year.

NMSU doesn't lose anyone, but I really don't follow them specifically. They do have the 7-5 kid, Sim (Ferris) Bhullar and his 7-3 brother who I think redshirted (and may have been recruited by OU last summer).

don't know what year he is but Kevin Ware is transferring. Would like to see him end his career well after last year's horrible injury

I read where Ware actually committed to Tennessee when Pearl was there, Auburn is the likely place for him.

I know a lot of people dislike the 5th year transfer thing, but I love it.

Not that I have anything to add here. I just like seeing kids who have taken care of business in the classroom get rewarded with the ability to pursue a specific goal as a senior.

It is a great rule for the kids. It encourages a kid that perhaps went to a major and can't get on the floor to get his degree and then pursue a year of ball at a smaller school or in the perfect situation where the kid can get some minutes.

I agree. It's a nice reward for graduating.
