#7 OU vs #6 LSU 1:30p. 3/6

we would have been beaten even worse by SC, they were wanting some revenge and unlike us since our last game they have gotten better and better.

We just are not in that tier… not many teams are.

Especially in women’s ball. There are about 4-5 teams that are top 5… the next 20 can get a win once in awhile against them but those top 4-5 teams can beat the rest of the top 25 by 30…

Just my observations
 
Well that bad of a loss will probably drop us to a 4 seed and a match up with a 1 seed in the sweet 16 that’ll end in another 35 point loss. Hope I’m wrong
 
Jennie has to recruit more athletic wings and defensive minded players and they don’t value the basketball at all it’s frustrating to watch.
 
Soonercuda or someone else: please share the post game press conference with Jenny when you can.
 
Kinda wonder what was said in the locker room both players and JB seemed to be pissed off, maybe just because of the loss. Lots of talk about getting better but we never seem to get better at our major issues turnovers and poor shooting especially 3's
 
The articles today I read have us as a 4 seed with about 3 or 4 teams with a chance to knock us down to a 5. Hope those projections are out of whack.
 
So we aren't elite by any stretch. Got it.

Just an absolutely inexplicable loss, losing by 40 in the SEC tournament. We need more talent across the board next year, but the recruiting class we have did not do that, and the money isn't there for a huge Portal haul. Sweet 16 is the ceiling for OU, as a program.

Don't say the quiet part out loud. This has been 3 or 4 years of garbage basketball IQ and shooting for OU under Jennie.

Recruiting class has nothing to do with that loss. Starters had 19 turnovers! Coach allows turnovers galore with no adjustments or timeouts. Turnovers have been an issue for 4 years. Defense not a priority. Beers had 6 shots? She has to figure out how to stay on the floor. She’s too old for those fouls, and older 3 are too old for those passes.

everything you say is exactly correct. If defense and cutting down on turnovers is a priority, it is not showing.
