Thought our defense was good most of the night. Best job of checking penetrating guards of the year. We still can't hit treys. 3 of 22. Less than 20%. I still think our biggest problem is shot selection. Too many rushed and from far out. Very little use of Beers tonight but she still got her double double in 20 minutes. Good game by Stewart. She needs to gain a little heft and muscle befor next year. Verhulst very good except for her 3 point shooting.

Agree on Culliton. Coale always started seniors on Senior Night if they only played the first 4 or 5 minutes. Sure would not have hurt against a team like Arkansas. JMHO

It appeared like she was crying on the bench at one point and get family was chanting to put her in.

Are Jennie's Senior Nights as emotional as Coale's used to be? I remember that Kelvin's were much more emotional than Lon's.

Yes she did. The needs to change. These young ladies give their heart to the program and the night is about them. Culliton had 7 minutes in a 40pt win vs a 0-14 team. It was very hard to enjoy the evening watching her unhappy and her family asking for her to be put in the game. I think it’s important enough that I’ll reach out, not that that I say means a lot.
