I hate how OU ended the season by blowing huge leads, losing games they shouldn't have, etc. I want OU to win every game they play. With that said, I would rather be a 10 or 11 seed than an 8 or 9. If OU can win the first game in the tourney (that's a big if, I'll admit), they are in much better shape to win game 2 and make the sweet 16. Call it a positive spin, but that's how I'm looking at things right now. OU could be a dangerous team and win a couple games as an underdog if they can ever figure out how to put two good halves together.

I agree. Would much rather be a 10 or an 11 seed than the 8/9. Heck, I'd rather be a 12 seed. Every year it seems a 12 beats a 5 and their reward is playing just a 4 seed.

As long as we can avoid the play in games, I think the higher seed may benefit us. That being said, next year we should just put all of this discussion to bed and get a 1 seed. :woot

Next year, we will likely take a step back. You don't lose Osby and Pledger and not take a slight step back, at least initially.

Agreed. We will need some of this year's freshmen to really step up their games and hope the new blood can hold their own. Fingers crossed that we can improve on this year, but that is a big ask.
