Unlv was forcing ou to beat them without her. They doubled down, got physical with her. Prob a few no calls that Jenny wasn’t happy with.

Thankfully our 3’s were dropping. Good to see others step up. Just makes us more dangerous.
 
I thought UNLV came out to start the game with great energy and shot 3s really well. But we settled in defensively better in the 2nd quarter and took the 1 point half time lead with Beers only scoring 2 points…I thought we looked rushed taking contested 2s around the basket in the 1st half and missed shots we should haved made if we took our time and went up strong.

In the 2nd half we really upped our defense and gave them no easy shots and dominated the defensive boards. Ran our offense great and 28-4 quarter was impressive. Beers was a lot better in the 3rd quarter and we got a lot of open looks. 30 point win at UNLV is an excellent win.

Yep, I think… as we should, the first half we maybe pressed getting beers the ball… unlv did a great job denying them doubling. Others stepped up… 2nd half we really didn’t try to force the inside game, bringing beers up there the ft line opening up the lower post
 
compare this game to last years unlv game and you will have a pretty good idea of the difference between last years team and this team. My wife found it on tv somewhere so i got to watch it.

Beers, an improved culliton, and zya vann just make us completely different imo. Williams and johnson are improved as well

A very much improved Sahara Williams and Us having Liz Scott back helps a lot as well. Personally I think the whole team as improved individually!
 
We just need to continue play together, play smart , STOP turning the ball over and play good defense and I’ll think we can make a pretty good run this season. 🤞🏽
 
We aren't going to stop turning it over, but we can slow it. 14 which I think we had last night is really good for us, but there were still a few absolutely silly ones that were totally unforced. But when we hit 40+% from 3 we are a tough out for anyone.
