#9 OU vs #15 Tennessee 2pm 1/5

OU up 28-22 after Q1. On offense if we don’t turn it over we get a good shot..and mostly easy inside shots. 59% shooting for us.

Just turned it on.. thought 3 pm start.

Looks better, but we had this with horns as well.

Hoping finish strong

46-39 lead at half. 17 turnovers but 58% shooting to offset the turnovers. Both teams play at a super fast pace. If we break the press we usually get a good shot.

Ahead 75-59 after Q3. A few less turnovers that quarter and we made 3s. Still shooting 60%. Reyna had a really good stretch when we pulled into the lead into double digits.

87-86 win. Almost blew it with missed shots and turnovers. Tennessee missed a wide open 3 for the win.

That game shouldn’t have been close. This team can be really good if they figure out the turnover problem and can get Beers the ball in the post more often.

Good judgement to let that tall TN player shoot the 3, probably not a great percentage shot for her. If Beers comes out to her, could have driven
around her to the basket.
How did OU allow a shot clock violation on their final possession? Why not drive to the basket and probably get fouled as the clock was running down
or Beers could have just thrown the ball towards the hoop?
BUT a very good win. Take it, come on home.

A quick survey of the box scores of Tennessee's games this year told me their opponents are averaging 29 turnovers a game. Some of the games where their opponents had less than 20 turnovers were blowout wins for Tennessee so they probably called the dogs off. Yes, we need to cut down on UNFORCED turnovers. But sometimes the opponent just makes a good play and it results in a turnover.

Tennessee is 37/6 in SEC season openers. I'm not sure if that stat includes today's game That's an impressive record.

I had to laugh at the TV announcers when they kept bragging on Tennessee's 'pace of play' but never mentioned what our preferable pace of play was. I realize they are given talking points for each game but they seemed to think we didn't play at a fast pace.

Gutsy win, but they tried their hardest to give the game away. Lead by 16 points at the start of the 4th win by 1. Bad look. The TOs need to get cut down MASSIVELY.

Better to win a game like this than to lose, but TOs have been a problem for Jennie's teams since she got here, meaning either she can't recruit good enough ball-handlers, or her offense is just too chaotic.

You are very transparent. Try harder to seem to be a Sooner fan.
