Excellent point Big Old Booger.....It's kinda a catch 22 situation. I might be tempted to take them without much issue, despite our problems this year, given that we need to avert a disaster next year - if they are willing to pledge they will play lights out and be coachable. Any evidence to the contrary, I'd go in a different direction.I appreciate your positive attitude, but remember, we had 3 burger boys on the team this past year and ended up 13-18. The key is not the most highly rated recruits but finding guys that can mesh.
Personally, if the Terrance boys are considered 1-and-done (I don't know much about them), then I'd rather go with a few guys who will be here 2 or 3 years at least. A couple of 1 year players and we could be back in this situation next year. We need some stability at this point.
SoonerNorm hit the nail on the head as well. You have to recruit different types of players. You need the elite talent along with some good, solid, players without big egos who have a lot to prove with a big chip on their shoulder....
