I remember John Ontjes as a fundamentally sound point guard and a smart player who would not get you beat by making mistakes. He was a coach on the floor as a player, so I'm not at all surprised that he turned out to be a good coach at some level.

I liked that offense we ran towards the end of games when everyone else spread out and he either made the play or got it to someone who could. Very solid point guard.
