Congratulations to KayKay on reaching the 1000 point club.
Love Little's defensive game and her offense seems to be coming around.
Gioia is BACK!!! And not a moment too soon. I think her being back (much less her play)perked up the team.
We are not fast and certainly not quick but when we move the ball and move our butts we do pretty well. Otherwise..............
Maddies passes usually surprise Kay Kay and ViVi once or twice a game. Sometimes they catch it and occasionally not. She is our best passer since Stacy.
Outstanding game by Ortiz. Lots of quick passes down court to pressure the defense.
I'd love to see this quality of rebounding every game and we'll need it Saturday.
What's with our free throw shooting? It's been a long time since we've shot this poorly I think.

3 things to add.

Ortiz played GREAT today- smart passing, smart shot selection. I barely noticed her and I mean that in a good way- she was within the flow of the game. Love it

TT is so scrappy, she needs minutes- think they are coming this week cause she is the perfect match up for McCarty.

Would like to point out all the ways Maddie beat people today. Her passing was brilliant- KK has to love playing with her. But her Mid range game looked brilliant today as well- and not to mention our 4 getting the ball from out of bounds and taking it coast to coast to the cup for the duece. The combination is special, that is why me, Syb and some others are constantly defending her. I love it.

AGREED! She is BIG. I didn't realize how big she really is- and can move well too. Very Raw, but I love what I see.

EJ has the athletic ability to be really good. It's going to take her commitment to practice, practice, practice in the gym with the basketball but there is a lot of potential there with her.
