Actual Congrats to the Seniors

As a Sooner basketball fan, I feel blessed to have the opportunity to watch these wonderful seniors grow, improve and mature. I have vicariously shared their joy in the many victories, and also shared their disappointment in the tough defeats. It has been a journey that has been made unforgettable by the “core group” of Buddy, Isaiah and Ryan. For fans (like me) that become somewhat emotionally attached to the players over the course of their college careers, senior night is a poignant scene. One journey is approaching its end, while life’s journey is really just beginning. With their participation in the OU basketball program under the guidance of Coach Lon Kruger, the fine young men listed above are ready to make the most of what is yet to come.

To the seniors: Thank You! God Bless You! I wish all of you great success and happiness!

Totally agree!

They've taken us on a ride I never expected this year! I expected very good but really didn't expect a few weeks at #1 and realistic shot at #1 seed. Still, hopefully, more to come.

Maybe the best thing is the OUstanding representatives this team is for OU and the athletic program. Night and day different than just about 5 years ago.

Wish the best to this senior class and know that with OUstanding coaching staff we have and OUstanding underclassmen on the team, they will continue great things!

And the ride's not over yet! These seniors have played their final game at LNC, but big goals are still within their grasp.

Sooner fans everywhere will be watching and anticipating great things from our guys in the conference tournament and beyond.

It's sad to see them go but hopefully it means that they'll all be moving on to bigger and better things with their lives. Congratulations to them on all they've accomplished and will in the future.
